A common question regarding the logo of our YWAM location, and the answer is found in our focus.

Matthew 5.6 says:
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled”.

The water logo represents our attitude of being a people who have an appetite, the hunger and thirst, for the things of God, his heart, his mind, his ways.  We cultivate an atmosphere of trusting in God for amazing change in ourselves, in others and in the nations as we experience his faithfulness in accomplishing the promise that he will fill those who have this appetite.

If you are one who is not satisfied with having a ‘half-full’ cup, or even a ‘full’ cup, but desire to be one whose cup is overfilling, then come join us.  Come with a hunger, come with a thirst, come with an appetite and expect to be quenched and then share with others out of your ‘cup’.

The Discipleship Training School is an exciting school for people who want to go deeper with God.  The scripture says that Satan came to steal, kill, and destroy but Jesus came that we might have life to the full (John 10:10)!  During the DTS students will form a strong foundation in Christ and be discipled by a community of people committed to loving God and loving each other.  

The DTS is a prerequisite for anyone interested in taking other schools offered by YWAM / University of the Nations.  

The fall DTS will be started September 19, 2007.

We are proud to announce that we are offering a new school here at the YWAM Eagles Nest! The BCC ( Biblical Core Course) is a second level school designed for students who have a desire to go deeper into God's word. The course has a three month lecture phase, followed by a two month cross-cultural outreach.

Equip is a leadership school designed for people looking to develop God given skills and abilites.  The school is based on a mentorship model and students will have close meaningful relationships with the staff as they learn more about God's destiny for their life.

Class size is restricted so apply early.  Next school will start Sept. 2008.

We are excited to see continued interest in our ESL course and this spring school has brought students from as far away as Korea and Brazil.

During the summer all of our schools are on the outreach phase of their training and there will not be any community meetings.

What are Open Sessions?  Community meetings are times when people from the community are invited the base to participate in class (usually in the evening).  YWAM is an open community and we are eager to meet our neighbours and make new friends.
